Artigas White Wine is one of the most elegant, vibrant, and complex white wine expressions from DOQ Priorat. Crafted by the renowned Celler Mas Alta in La Vilella Alta, this wine comes from a distinctive blend combining the structure of Grenache Blanc, the delicate freshness of Macabeo, and the unique personality of Pedro Ximénez grown on steep slate (llicorella) slopes. It beautifully pairs Mediterranean mineral depth with a smooth, mouth-coating texture.
Tasting Note
In the glass, it displays a brilliant golden-straw hue with subtle greenish highlights. The nose opens with elegance and depth, unveiling notes of crisp green apple, ripe orchard peach, orange blossom, and wild herbs, tied together by warm slate minerality and lightly toasted nuts. On the palate, it enters smooth, round, and rich. Its creamy texture from lees work is brilliantly balanced by a lively streak of citrus acidity, bringing freshness and carrying the wine into a long, mineral, and persistent finish.
