Palomo Cojo White Wine is an upbeat, modern, and refreshing star from DO Rueda. Crafted as a single-varietal 100% Verdejo from selected vineyards, this young white wine captures the purest, most vibrant expression of Rueda's flagship grape. Cold-fermented in stainless steel tanks and enhanced by brief lees contact, it offers an aromatic fruit burst, crisp acidity, and effortless drinkability.
Tasting Note
In the glass, it shows a pale straw-yellow color, crystal clear and bright with lively greenish glints highlighting its youthful spirit. On the nose, it is open and highly expressive, revealing crisp green apple, pear, and tropical notes of passion fruit and pineapple, framed by citrus lime zest and signature fennel and fresh-cut grass nuances. On the palate, it enters with agile, crisp freshness and a subtle creamy touch; its mid-palate is vibrant and fruit-forward, led by clean acidity that carries into a persistent finish with Verdejo's iconic, pleasant bitter edge.
