Mar de Frades Albariño White Wine is an undisputed icon of DO Rías Baixas and a benchmark for Atlantic viticulture in the Val do Salnés valley. Crafted entirely from hand-picked Albariño grapes harvested near the Arousa estuary, this wine captures pure oceanic influence. Its iconic blue glass bottle features a thermo-sensitive label where a small boat appears once the wine reaches its ideal serving temperature (8°C to 10°C), promising a crisp, saline, and elegant tasting experience.
Tasting Note
In the glass, it shines with a pale lemon-yellow color enhanced by luminous green reflections. The nose is an intense burst of sea breeze and floral aromas, revealing crisp green apple, pink grapefruit, and apricot, intermingled with orange blossom, cut grass, and an ocean-sprayed mineral undertone. The palate is electric, crisp, and extremely refreshing; vibrant acidity drives a smooth texture towards a long, saline, and unmistakably Atlantic finish.
