Afortunado Verdejo White Wine is an expressive, joyful, and vibrant gem from DO Rueda, crafted by Viñedos Singulars. Made as a single-varietal 100% Verdejo from high-altitude old vines (many pre-phylloxera) in Segovia, it benefits from fine lees work. It combines intense tropical fruit notes with a delightfully smooth, rounded mouthfeel and crisp freshness.
Tasting Note
In the glass, it glows with a bright, clean pale-straw color framed by youthful greenish highlights. The nose explodes with an inviting bouquet of passion fruit, pineapple, and mango, alongside crisp green apple, lime zest, and signature fennel and fresh-cut grass notes. On the palate, it enters smoothly with generous fruitiness; its mid-palate is lush and supple, driven by vibrant acidity that makes it effortlessly enjoyable and leads into a long, clean, and refreshing finish.
