Circe Verdejo White Wine is an aromatic, enchanting jewel from DO Rueda, crafted by Avelino Vegas. Named after the alluring goddess of Greek mythology, this 100% Verdejo single-varietal is sourced from low-yield, old vines in Segovia's highest altitudes. A cold pre-fermentation maceration unlocks an exquisitely delicate sensory profile, offering a smooth, floral, and lushly textured tasting experience.
Tasting Note
In the glass, it presents a delicate pale straw-yellow hue accented by golden highlights and a luminous greenish core. The nose is instantly captivating, unfolding a perfumed bouquet of orange blossom, jasmine, and white flowers, which seamlessly reveals notes of vineyard peach, pink grapefruit, and passion fruit. On the palate, it enters with remarkable silkiness; the mouthfeel is lush and supple yet effortlessly fresh, where sweet orchard fruit and crisp acidity meet in perfect balance, leading to a lingering, highly elegant finish.
