Carlos Villanueva White Wine is a flagship expression by Bodegas Villanueva Senra in DO Ribeiro. Crafted as a signature white wine from old vines along the Avia river terraces, it features native queen variety Treixadura masterfully blended with rich Godello and vibrant Albariño. Cold maceration and fine-lees aging impart outstanding aromatic complexity, a smooth mouth-coating texture, and crisp Atlantic personality.
Tasting Note
In the glass, it glows with a bright straw-yellow color framed by vibrant greenish and golden glints. The nose reveals a complex, refined, and expressive bouquet where stone fruits like vine peach meet crisp citrus notes, white elderflower, wild fennel, and a distinct granitic mineral undertone.
