Ramón do Casar Varietals White Wine is one of the most elegant and acclaimed wines in DO Ribeiro. Crafted by the González Sabucedo family alongside renowned winemaker Pablo Estévez, this white wine blends native Treixadura, Albariño, and Godello grapes grown on granitic vineyard slopes in Castrelo de Miño. Cold maceration and fine-lees aging impart incredible aromatic depth, a mouth-coating texture, and distinct Atlantic minerality.
In the glass, it shines with a clear straw-yellow color framed by vibrant greenish glints. The nose reveals an inviting and complex bouquet, where ripe stone fruit aromas like vine peach intermingle with green apple, wild white flowers, fresh fennel, and a refined granitic mineral edge. On the palate, it enters with broadness and luscious volume boosted by fine lees aging; the mouthfeel is smooth and silky, masterfully balanced by crisp citrus acidity that carries through to a long, persistent, and delicately saline finish.
Freshness & texture balance. Palate weight in Ramón do Casar Varietals embraces creamy avocado while crisp acidity elevates raw fish.
Surf & turf match. The wine's rich structure supports savory filling while vibrant freshness tempers subtle chili heat.
Gastronomic synergy. Fine-lees contact grants the creamy depth required to match rich seafood broth without losing freshness.
