Menade Verdejo Organic White Wine is a hallmark of natural viticulture bottled under VT Castilla y León. Winery Menade chose to produce outside the D.O. appellation framework to preserve full independence in their organic, low-intervention philosophy. Crafted from certified organic 100% Verdejo vines in stony soils, it is fermented with wild yeasts and aged on fine lees to deliver an authentic, pure, and mineral-driven white wine.
Narrative Tasting Note
In the glass, Menade Verdejo displays a pale yellow hue highlighted by brilliant greenish glints. The nose reveals an aromatic bouquet filled with wild herbs like thyme, bay leaf, and rosemary, wild fennel, green apple, citrus peel, and a distinct flinty mineral undertone. On the palate, it enters with agile and vibrant energy; fine lees aging provides a silky mid-palate structure balanced by crisp acidity, flowing into a long, clean finish featuring Verdejo's signature noble bitter note.
