The white wine Can Sumoi Garnatxa Blanca is the purest expression of high-altitude terroir from Serra de l'Home, located 600 meters above sea level in Baix Penedès. Crafted by Pepe Raventós' natural wine project under DO Penedès, this single-varietal Garnatxa Blanca is an authentic low-intervention, organic, vegan, and additive-free natural wine. An ancestral mountain white offering an unadulterated, crystalline, and Mediterranean tasting experience.
Tasting Note
In the glass, it shows an honest pale yellow hue with soft golden accents and a subtle cloudiness, typical of its unfiltered and unclarified natural process. The nose is direct and remarkably pure, opening with white stone fruit like vine peach, unripened apricot, and mountain apple, layered over a vibrant background of wild Mediterranean herbs—thyme and rosemary—alongside limestone and chalky minerality. On the palate, it is pure energy, truth, and mountain nerve; it opens with honest volume, displaying a subtle tactile texture typical of high-altitude Garnatxa Blanca, framed by crisp, wild acidity. The finish is persistent, dry, saline, and deeply refreshing.
