Thoughtfully aged on its fine lees in tanks to gain structure and creaminess, it successfully fuses the warmth and fruity volume of the Grenache with the aromatic finesse, verticality, and cellaring potential brought by the Chardonnay. The result is a multi-layered white wine, round on the palate and upheld by a vibrant limestone freshness. Tasting Note
In the glass, it shines with beautiful crystalline clarity, displaying a bright pale yellow color with vivid golden and greenish hues that reflect its youth and excellent aging. On the nose, it unfolds with seductive intensity and a rich array of nuances; clean notes of ripe white fruit like glazed pear and Golden apple emerge first, accompanied by subtle hints of stone fruit such as apricot. As it breathes, elegant touches of spring white flowers, fresh citrus peel, and a subtly creamy background of fine pastry and nuts appear, courtesy of its valuable fine lees work. On the palate, the entry is wide, alluring, and very pleasant. Its journey across the mouth is smooth, carrying an enchanting volume and a silky texture provided by the White Grenache, which is perfectly balanced by a crisp, firm, and electric acidity that keeps the wine remarkably lively. The finish is long, persistent, and exceptionally clean, leaving a fruity and slightly mineral aftertaste.
