3 Finques by Perelada is one of the iconic staples and historic benchmarks of DO Empordà. This red wine is born from a blend of traditional and international varieties—such as Grenache, Samsó, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah—sourced from three distinct winery vineyards: Espolla, La Garriga, and Pont de Molins. Aged for 12 months in American and French oak barrels, it offers remarkable versatility, balance, and true Mediterranean character.
In the glass, it shows a bright, attractive cherry-red color with medium-high intensity and garnet hues on the rim. The nose is open, inviting, and highly expressive, delivering upfront aromas of ripe red and black fruits such as cherries, blackberries, and plums, closely accompanied by sweet spices, vanilla, light toasted notes, and a hint of wild Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, it is remarkably well-balanced, smooth, and approachable; full of flavor yet fluid, it is supported by polished tannins and crisp acidity that lends freshness throughout. The finish is lingering, leaving pleasant fruity and softly spiced memories.
Modern surf & turf. The wine's vibrant fruit profile and fresh acidity cut through rich pork belly while matching charred octopus textures.
Savory harmony. Smooth tannins and subtle oak spice balance savory rice richness while enhancing dark chocolate seasonings.
Sweet & savory match. Ripe fruit aromas and approachable mouthfeel pair delightfully with sweet fig jam and tangy cheese.
