Únic Syrah is a captivating single-varietal red wine crafted by Clos Montblanc in the DO Conca de Barberà. Showcasing the full potential of Syrah in a Mediterranean terroir with continental influences, this wine undergoes aging in French and American oak barrels to deliver deep fruit concentration, floral aromatics, and a silky, spiced palate.
Narrative Tasting Note
In the glass, Únic Syrah presents an intense violet-red color with dark purple rim reflections. The nose reveals a complex and intoxicating bouquet filled with ripe dark fruits—blueberry jam, blackberries, and dark plums—seamlessly blended with notes of freshly cracked black pepper, violets, wild rosemary, dark cocoa, and subtle toasted oak spice. On the palate, it enters with broad volume, fleshy texture, and a velvety mouthfeel; sweet, polished tannins build a structured body lifted by Conca de Barberà's natural acidity. The finish is long, elegant, and persistent, leaving lingering impressions of dark spices, floral notes, and toasted oak.
