It is the smallest C in Catalonia and one of the oldest. It was created in 1953 with almost 1500 hectares of vineyard, almost five times as many as it has today.

DO ALICANTE

The D.O. Borgia field holds among its true wine jewels in which the Garnacha variety achieves its full splendor. Single-variety black wines that are enjoying wide worldwide prestige because of their highly defined personality, quality and complexity that make them unique in the world.
White wines made with Maccabeum and Chardonnay are light, fresh and delicate aroma. The rosettes, born mostly of the Garnacha variety, are very fruity wines, with accentuated floral aromas.
