Anahí Blanco Semidulce is one of the most vibrant and approachable creations by Javier San Pedro Ortega in DOCa Rioja. Designed to charm from the very first sip, this semi-sweet white is crafted from selected native grapes led by Viura, complemented by touches of Malvasía and Tempranillo Blanco. Naturally stopping fermentation preserves soft residual sugar, creating a modern, smooth, light, and perfectly balanced white wine.

Tasting Note

In the glass, it glows with a pale straw-yellow color adorned with youthful greenish highlights. The nose unveils an expressive, sweet, and deeply fruity bouquet where peach in syrup, ripe apricot, and yellow apple blend with white blossom fragrances and candied orange peel. On the palate, it enters with silky, soft volume; the mouthfeel is luscious yet remarkably refreshing, sustained by crisp citrus acidity that prevents any cloying sensation, carrying through to a long, delightful, and sweet fruity finish.

Groundbreaking Pairings

Thai Yellow Prawn Curry with coconut milk and fresh basil

Spicy & sweet harmony. Anahí's gentle natural sweetness tempers curry spices while crisp acidity lifts prawn sweetness.

Blue Cheese (Valdeón or Gorgonzola) with walnuts and acacia honey

Intense contrast play. Salty, creamy blue cheese creates a classic match with the wine's rich fruity and sweet nuances.

Artisanal Foie Micuit with fig chutney and sea salt flakes

Refined aperitif synergy. Soft wine weight embraces creamy foie texture effortlessly without feeling heavy.
