Celeste Verdejo White Wine is an elegant expression of DO Rueda crafted by Pago del Cielo, the Familia Torres project in the region. Sourced from 100% Verdejo vineyards near the Duero riverbank, this white wine undergoes temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel followed by fine lees contact. It offers an aromatic, velvety, and intensely refreshing experience inspired by the starlit nights of the Castilian plateau.
Narrative Tasting Note
In the glass, it presents a bright pale straw-yellow hue adorned with vibrant greenish highlights reflecting its youthfulness. The nose reveals a rich, complex bouquet dominated by tropical aromas like passion fruit and mango, harmoniously layered with white peach, grapefruit zest, and an elegant herbal backdrop of fennel and cut grass. On the palate, it enters with a silky, coating texture; its mid-palate is supple and structured thanks to fine lees aging, guided by lively acidity toward a long, elegant finish featuring Verdejo's signature noble bitterness.
