Flor de Vetus Verdejo White Wine is a vibrant, modern, and mineral-driven jewel from DO Rueda, produced by Bodegas Vetus (Grupo Artevino). Crafted from 100% Verdejo grapes grown at over 900 meters above sea level in Segovia, its sandy soils and high altitude yield a wine of striking precision, electric freshness, and crystal-clear varietal expression.
Tasting Note
In the glass, it glows with a very bright, pale straw-yellow hue framed by youthful greenish glints. The nose immediately reveals a pure and expressive bouquet of crisp green apple, apricot, and yellow grapefruit zest, complemented by subtle crushed-stone minerality and delicate white blossoms. On the palate, it enters with crisp, direct energy; its mid-palate is vertical, fluid, and deeply refreshing, propelled by electric acidity that leads into a clean, long, and citrus-focused finish.
