Saltimbanqui White Wine is an upbeat, fresh, and highly expressive star from DO Rueda, crafted by renowned winemaker Javier Sanz. Made as a single-varietal 100% Verdejo from selected vineyards in La Seca, this young white is cold-fermented in stainless steel tanks to keep peak fruit freshness. True to its playful name, it delivers a joyful burst of tropical fruit, vibrant acidity, and easy drinkability.
Tasting Note
In the glass, it shines with a pale, crystal-clear straw-yellow hue accented by youthful greenish glints. The nose immediately opens up with an inviting bouquet of white peach, crisp green apple, and passion fruit, framed by lime zest and signature fennel and fresh-cut grass notes. On the palate, it enters with agile, crisp lightness; its mid-palate is dynamic and fruit-forward, expertly driven by lively acidity that leads into a persistent, clean finish with Verdejo's classic, pleasant bitter touch.
