Javier Sanz Sauvignon Blanc White Wine is one of the most distinctive single-varietal expressions in DO Rueda. Crafted by Javier Sanz Viticultor in La Seca (Valladolid) from 40-year-old vines —among the first planted in the region—, this wine benefits from stony soils, extreme continental weather, and fine lees aging. The result is an intensely aromatic, vibrant white wine offering tropical fruit notes, crisp citrus acidity, and impressive palate depth.
Narrative Tasting Note
In the glass, Javier Sanz Sauvignon Blanc displays a bright straw-yellow color enhanced by youthful green glints. The nose reveals an explosive bouquet of fresh-cut grass, elderflower, and blackcurrant leaf layered with tropical passion fruit, pink grapefruit, and lime zest. On the palate, it enters with electric freshness; its mid-palate is surprisingly textured, broad, and mouth-coating due to fine lees contact, perfectly lifted by vibrant citrus acidity that leads into a long, clean, and herbal-tinted finish.
