Sinols Blanc by Empordàlia is the liquid expression of the character, strength, and brightness of Alt Empordà. Crafted from a selected blend of White Grenache and Macabeo, this young white wine is born from old vines nurtured by the strong northern Tramuntana wind. Sinols Blanc stands out by beautifully blending the volume and smoothness of White Grenache with the citrusy freshness and bite of Macabeo. A deeply Mediterranean white wine, clean, honest, and incredibly versatile, ideal to connect directly with the essence and landscapes of Costa Brava.
In the glass, it shines with a beautiful, very bright, and clear pale-yellow color, enhanced by greenish highlights that speak of its vibrant youth. Its aroma is immediate and clean, captivating the nose with a fresh profile dominated by notes of crisp white fruit —like pear and green apple— alongside subtle citrus touches of lemon zest, wild white flowers, and a mild herbal hint of fennel. On the palate, the entry is highly pleasant, balanced, and intense. Its flow across the mouth surprises with a silky volume provided by the White Grenache, beautifully balanced by Macabeo's electric acidity, which adds a lively and long-lasting freshness. The finish is clean, Mediterranean, and leaves a pleasant, sweet fruity memory that invites you back for another sip.
An unbeatable local pairing. The smooth texture of the White Grenache softens the intense saltiness of the anchovy, while the Macabeo's freshness and the tomato's acidity instantly cleanse the palate, preparing you for the next delicious bite.
A sweet-and-savory classic contrast. Local honey over warm, crispy cod fritters aligns wonderfully with this white blend's floral and fruity profile, while the wine's vibrant acidity beautifully balances the sweetness of the dish.
A super-easy and exotic fusion dish. The electric, refreshing character of this white wine pairs brilliantly with the spicy and fresh edge of ginger, while the Grenache's volume matches the fleshy texture of the prawns perfectly.
