Tramuntana Soul is the liquid essence of the Empordà landscape. Crafted by Porta de l'Albera winery in DO Empordà, this red wine originates from vineyards shaped by the legendary northern Tramuntana wind. Striking a perfect harmony between terroir power and mountain freshness, it blends the wild heritage of Samsó (Carignan), the juicy fruitiness of Red Grenache, and the elegant structure of Cabernet Sauvignon into an authentic Mediterranean expression.
Narrative Tasting Note
In the glass, it shows a deep dark cherry-red color with vibrant violet highlights along the rim. The nose offers an expressive and wild bouquet, dominated by fresh red and black woodland fruits—cherries, blackberries, and dark plums—layered over a balsamic backbone of thyme, rosemary, black pepper, and subtle mineral hints. On the palate, it is vibrant and engaging; entering with crisp freshness before revealing a flavorful mid-palate where Grenache fruitiness meets the lively backbone of Samsó and the structured, polished tannins of Cabernet. The finish is long, clean, and pleasantly spicy.
