The red wine Vins Nonell was born as a passionate tribute to the Pla de Bages landscape, the iconic Collbaix peak, and the cultural richness of Central Catalonia. Crafted in collaboration with Celler Collbaix under DO Pla de Bages, this unique red wine celebrates local identity through an extraordinary blend of recovered native grape varieties like Sumoll and Mandó, enhanced by the structural elegance of Cabernet Franc. A deeply expressive red wine brimming with forest character and vibrant freshness.
Tasting Note
In the glass, it displays an appealing ruby-red color of medium depth, clear and bright, with youthful violet glints. The nose reveals an aromatic symphony of great freshness dominated by wild forest berries such as raspberries and blueberries, wrapped in delicate wild herbs like rosemary, thyme, and pine nuts, alongside a subtle black pepper spice backdrop. On the palate, it enters with vibrant energy; the rustic charm of Sumoll and the floral finesse of Mandó harmoniously pair with supple tannins and crisp acidity, leading into a long, fluid, and authentically Mediterranean finish.
