Sindicat de la Figuera is one of the purest, freshest, and most authentic expressions of Red Grenache in DO Montsant. Sourced from old high-altitude vineyards grown at nearly 600 meters above sea level in La Figuera, this red wine pays tribute to village winemaking traditions. Fermented and aged in traditional concrete vats without any oak contact, it preserves pristine crunchy red fruit, floral elegance, and vibrant mountain acidity.
Narrative Tasting Note
In the glass, it displays a vibrant ruby-red color of medium intensity with bright pink edges. The nose offers an immediate explosion of crunchy fruit and floral delicate notes; wild strawberries, fresh raspberries, red cherries, and violets dominate, wrapped in a Mediterranean herbal backdrop of thyme and subtle mineral nuances. On the palate, it is delightfully fluid and energetic; entering with juicy lightness before revealing a silky, refreshing body driven by fine tannins and crisp natural acidity.
