El Veïnat is an authentic homage to the winemaking heritage and terroir of DO Montsant, created by the renowned project Viñedos Singulares. Crafted as a single-varietal wine from 100% Red Grenache sourced from old vineyards in El Molar and El Lloar, it showcases the balance between granite-calcareous soils and Mediterranean warmth. With 6 months of aging in French oak barrels, El Veïnat delivers a vibrant, berry-forward red wine boasting pure Mediterranean elegance.
Narrative Tasting Note
In the glass, it shines with a bright, medium-density cherry-red color accented by lively ruby highlights. The nose is a true expression of Mediterranean Grenache, bursting with fresh wild strawberries, ripe raspberries, and red cherries, framed by rosemary, thyme, and pine forest undertones. Its brief aging in French oak is seamlessly integrated, contributing sweet baking spice nuances like cinnamon and soft toasted notes without overpowering the juicy fruit character. On the palate, it is smooth, supple, and delightfully easy-drinking. Clean natural acidity brings energy, while polished tannins lead into a long, delicious, berry-driven finish that reflects pure Montsant terroir.
