La Plantadeta Old Vines White Wine is an honest, authentic tribute to the terroir of Torroja del Priorat. Crafted by the family-run Celler Sabaté, this single-varietal 100% Old Vine Grenache Blanc comes from mature vines deeply rooted in slate (llicorella) terraces. A limited-production white that perfectly embodies the mineral soul of DOQ Priorat, combining rustic elegance with remarkable aging potential.
Tasting Note
It shines in the glass with a deep golden-straw color and soft amber highlights revealing its concentration. The nose is deep, serene, and layered, offering aromas of white wildflower honey, ripe vineyard peach, and candied orange peel, tied together by warm slate minerality and toasted nuts. On the palate, it enters rich, smooth, and full-bodied; its mouth-coating texture is harmoniously balanced by a vibrant streak of saline acidity that carries the wine into a long, warm, and memorable Mediterranean finish.
