La Niña de Mis Ojos Semi-Sweet White Wine is a fresh and modern creation crafted by Bodegas Altanza in DOCa Rioja. Breaking traditional Rioja white templates, this semi-sweet wine is made from an aromatic blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Verdejo. Stopping fermentation with cold temperatures retains natural grape sugars, producing a luscious, vibrant, and approachable white wine.
Tasting Note
In the glass, it shines clean and luminous with a pale straw-yellow hue adorned with youthful greenish highlights. The nose reveals an open, expressive bouquet packed with tropical notes like passion fruit, mango, and pineapple, harmonized with crisp white fruit and fresh herbal undertones from Verdejo. On the palate, it enters smoothly with a silky mouthfeel; its gentle natural sweetness is masterfully balanced by bright citrus acidity, preventing any cloying sensation while leading to an agile, cheerful, and fruity finish.
