The organic white wine Sagal White is a fresh, authentic expression of Pla de Bages, crafted by organic winery Celler Collbaix under DO Pla de Bages. This young white wine is born from the harmonious combination of the region's flagship grape variety, Picapoll, and the delicate elegance of Macabeo. Grown organically at the foot of the Collbaix hill, Sagal White is a vibrant, youthful Mediterranean wine crafted to deliver pure local character.
Tasting Note
Shining pale straw-yellow in the glass with bright greenish hints reflecting youthful vitality, it opens with a clean, fresh bouquet. Aromas of green apple and crisp pear mingle with almond blossom, hints of fresh apricot, and a distinctive citrus background of grapefruit and cut grass. On the palate, it enters with light, agile grace, driven by Picapoll's lively, electric acidity that guides the wine towards a dry, subtly mineral, and highly refreshing citrus-herbal finish.
