The organic and biodynamic white wine Miranius is the most vibrant, joyful, and direct expression of the indigenous Xarel·lo grape in Alt Penedès. Crafted by Celler Credo (Recaredo’s still wine project) under DO Penedès, this single-varietal comes from vineyards cultivated under strict biodynamic farming principles. Miranius is a honest, electric, and deeply mineral white wine that captures the chalky soil character and crisp hill climate of the region.
Tasting Note
In the glass, it shines with a very pale, clear, and luminous yellow color accented by soft green reflections. On the nose, it offers an explosion of Mediterranean purity and citrus brightness, featuring green apple, fresh lemon zest, crisp apricot, and wild herbs like fennel and elderflower over a distinct limestone and saline backdrop. On the palate, it delivers pure energy, agility, and tension; its vertical entry fills the mouth with vibrant citrus acidity, beautifully framed by Xarel·lo’s natural texture and leading into a dry, mineral, and refreshing finish.
