Made under DO Somontano, this 100% Syrah single-varietal wine hails from vineyards nestled near the Pyrenean foothills, where day-to-night temperature swings bring outstanding aromatic freshness. It is an authentic, deeply expressive red wine overflowing with ripe dark fruit, spicy accents, and Mediterranean character.
Narrative Tasting Note
Se sacudía las abarcas unfolds in the glass with a deep, attractive dark cherry red color and bright purple highlights. The nose opens with a rich wave of ripe dark fruit aromas —wild blackberries, blueberries, and black cherries— seamlessly blended with classic Syrah spicy notes such as cracked black pepper, fresh violet floral notes, and a hint of dark cocoa and rosemary. On the palate, it is full-bodied, fleshy, and smooth; the rich entry evolves into a velvety texture supported by fine tannins and a vibrant acidity that provides great freshness, leading to a lingering, spicy finish that calls for another sip.
