Granbazán Etiqueta Ámbar White Wine is an iconic benchmark within DO Rías Baixas, originating from old-vine plots in the heart of Val do Salnés. Crafted entirely from hand-selected Albariño grapes grown on granite soils, it undergoes cold skin maceration followed by extended aging on fine lees. This meticulous winemaking confers impressive complexity, silky mouthfeel, and excellent aging potential while preserving its vibrant Atlantic identity.
In the glass, it glows with a brilliant straw-yellow color accented by youthful greenish and golden reflections. The nose unfolds a rich and sophisticated bouquet dominated by ripe yellow peach, apricot, grapefruit zest, orange blossom, and wild herbs, all framed by a distinct saline-granite mineral touch. On the palate, it feels full-bodied, structured, and delightfully creamy thanks to fine lees contact; the mid-palate is smooth and coating, balanced by crisp Atlantic acidity that drives a long, persistent, sea-breeze finish.
Rich & creamy synergy. Lees aging texture matches tuna fat while vibrant Atlantic acidity refreshes the palate.
Full-bodied culinary match. Granbazán Etiqueta Ámbar's palate weight handles rich duck meat and creamy sauce effortlessly.
Surf & turf harmony. Granite salinity lifts smoky octopus char and smooth sweet potato creaminess.
