In the glass, Chateldon Reserva displays a deep, bright ruby-red color highlighted by elegant tile-red and old-gold reflections. The nose immediately reveals an intense, complex, and refined aromatic bouquet: ripe black fruit perfumes—such as blackcurrants, wild blackberries, and dark plums—emerge alongside graphite, cedarwood, smoky undertones, green pepper, tobacco leaf, cinnamon, and toasted oak nuances. On the palate, it delivers a firm, broad, and fleshy entry; its tannins are impeccably polished, showing a rounded, velvety structure that coats the mouth with distinction. Balanced acidity and Penedès freshness support the wine, culminating in a long, persistent, and elegant finish filled with stewed fruit, sweet spices, and noble oak echoes.
