Xino-Xano Red is a young, lively, and delightfully fresh red wine crafted by the acclaimed family winery Oriol Rossell in DO Penedès. As its name suggests ("taking it easy"), it is a wine meant for laid-back moments and friendly gatherings. This blend pairs Merlot's fleshiness and soft red fruit with Syrah's colorful, spicy structure, resulting in a rounded, easy-drinking, and deeply Mediterranean red wine.
Narrative Tasting Note
In the glass, Xino-Xano Red displays a bright ruby-red color adorned with youthful violet highlights. The nose immediately unfolds a clean, intense, and highly fruit-forward bouquet: sweet fresh red fruit aromas —such as crunchy cherries, wild strawberries, and blueberries— emerge harmoniously intertwined with black pepper spices, subtle violet flowers, and Mediterranean herbal undertones. On the palate, it delivers a friendly, fluid, and light entry; its tannins are exceptionally polished, rounded, and velvety, gently coating the mouth. Lively natural acidity maintains great freshness, culminating in a clean, fragrant, and enjoyable finish that calls for another glass.
