In the glass, Josep Foraster Selecció boasts an intense, dark cherry-red color with deep garnet edges and exceptional color density. The nose opens with a solemn and highly concentrated bouquet filled with dark berry jam—cassis, wild blackberries, and stewed plums—intermingled with graphite minerality, fine tobacco leaf, dark chocolate 80%, aged leather, cedarwood, and delicate truffle nuances. On the palate, it enters with broad power, rich volume, and remarkable fleshiness; firm yet impeccably polished tannins frame a deep mouthfeel where Grenache fruit richness is elevated by regional freshness.
