Germans Balart Blanc

White wine from D.O. Terra Alta, crafted exclusively from the native Garnacha Blanca (White Grenache) variety.

The wine displays a medium golden-yellow color, clean, bright, and intense. It shows thick, slow-falling legs (tears) on the glass, indicative of its structure and concentration.

The nose is complex and very expressive. It opens with a notable aromatic intensity, highlighting ripe stone fruit (peach, apricot) and subtle tropical notes. The barrel fermentation and aging are noticeable yet well-integrated, lending delicate nuances of fine toast, vanilla, and sweet spices, complementing the varietal fruit character.

The entry is voluminous, broad, and creamy (unctuous). It is very well-balanced, thanks to its excellent acidity which provides freshness, backbone, and length. This is a well-structured, full-bodied white wine. The finish is long and persistent, reaffirming the ripe fruit and the subtle elegance of the oak.

A highly gastronomic, structured white wine that masterfully combines the inherent power of Garnacha Blanca with the complexity and finesse gained from barrel fermentation.
