Petit Caus Rosat is the vibrant younger sibling from Can Ràfols dels Caus, one of the most distinguished wineries in DO Penedès. Its new blend is crafted exclusively from Merlot, Tempranillo, and Syrah grown on the rugged limestone soils of the Garraf Massif. Unaged in oak, this rosé is designed to express maximum fruit freshness and true coastal mineral character.
Narrative Tasting Note
In the glass, Petit Caus Rosat showcases a lovely sapphire-pink shade with bright strawberry highlights, clear and inviting. The nose delights with its expressive and direct bouquet, where the harmony between Merlot, Tempranillo, and Syrah delivers a burst of wild raspberries, crunchy red cherries, and redcurrants interlaced with cut grass, wild Mediterranean herbs, and a chalky mineral salinity. On the palate, it is nimble and full of life: crisp natural acidity drives a fluid, crunchy mouthfeel, leaving a clean, fragrant, and deeply refreshing finish.
