Terras Gauda White Wine is the flagship cuvée of the winery located in the O Rosal subzone of DO Rías Baixas. Renowned for its unique character, this wine is a master blend where Albariño provides fruit and structure, Caiño Blanco contributes palate weight, volume, and crisp acidity, and Loureiro adds intense floral and herbal aromas. Grown in the Miño river valley under Atlantic influences, Terras Gauda stands as one of Galicia’s most complex and celebrated white wines.
Tasting Note
In the glass, it shines with a pale greenish-yellow color accented by bright golden highlights. Swirling the glass reveals a rich sensory journey: ripe white fruits like vine peach, melon, and green apple intertwine with orange blossom, fresh bay leaf, and citrus touches of mandarin and grapefruit, anchored by a signature ocean-spray mineral note. On the palate, it unfolds with remarkable width, silkiness, and weight; crisp acidity frames a fleshy mid-palate, carrying through to a remarkably persistent, saline, and complex finish.
