Estones GS is the flagship fine wine crafted by Estones Vins in DO Montsant. Its name honors the region's primary indigenous varieties, Red Grenache and Samsó (Carignan), sourced from low-yield old vines grown on slate and limestone soils between Falset and Marçà. Patiently aged for 14 months in fine-grained French oak barrels, this iconic red captures the ultimate balance of noble power, mineral depth, and exceptional cellaring potential.

Narrative Tasting Note

In the glass, it glows with a majestic, highly opaque dark garnet-red color featuring deep violet highlights. The nose unveils an extraordinarily complex and concentrated bouquet, where ripe dark fruits—blackberry jam, blueberries, and plum preserves—blend with fine graphite, cigar box, pure dark cocoa, black pepper, and Mediterranean scrubland notes. On the palate, it is broad, silky, and impressively structured; entering with fleshy richness before unfolding a multi-layered body supported by beautifully polished tannins and fresh natural acidity. The finish is remarkably long, persistent, and deeply mineral.
