Loidana White Wine is one of the most vibrant, expressive, and innovative creations from the prestigious Marco Abella winery in Porrera. Originating from the heart of DOQ Priorat, this wine features a unique blend combining the lively acidity of Picapoll, the exotic aromatics of Viognier, the structure of Grenache Blanc, and the delicate freshness of Macabeo. A biodynamic wine reflecting the most agile and floral face of slate terroir.
Tasting Note
It shines in the glass with a brilliant straw-yellow color enhanced by greenish reflections. On the nose, it unveils an expressive aromatic bouquet where apricot, orange blossom, and tropical notes from Viognier blend seamlessly with green apple, wild herbs, and a crisp citrus purity driven by Picapoll, all resting on a warm slate mineral background. On the palate, it enters smooth and coating; lees aging provides a pleasant creaminess, while electric citrus acidity keeps the wine agile, leading to a long, mineral, and refreshing finish.
