Sommos Colección Varietales White Wine is one of the most sophisticated, complex, and gastronomic white wines from DO Somontano. Crafted by the futuristic Bodega Sommos in Barbastro (Huesca), this wine is an exquisite blend of Riesling, Chardonnay, and Gewürztraminer. Aged individually for 6 months in French oak barrels on fine lees, it delivers a masterclass in rich texture and crisp acidity.
Narrative Tasting Note
In the glass, Sommos Colección Varietales White displays a brilliant golden-yellow hue adorned with lively greenish hints. The nose opens with a deep, multilayered bouquet: crisp citrus and mineral notes from Riesling merge with ripe tropical fruit from Chardonnay and romantic rose petal and lychee perfumes from Gewürztraminer, all layered over subtle buttery notes, vanilla, and fine oak toast. On the palate, it is full-bodied and velvety; its rich lees volume is perfectly balanced by Riesling's razor-sharp acidity, carrying into a long, mineral, and spiced finish.
