Naia White Wine is the flagship cuvée of Bodegas Naia in DO Rueda (La Seca). Crafted as a single-varietal 100% Verdejo from old vines, this white wine undergoes 4 months of aging on its fine lees in stainless steel tanks and wooden vats. This winemaking approach extracts the deepest, most complex, and mineral side of the grape, delivering remarkable volume, creamy texture, and great gastronomic versatility.
Narrative Tasting Note
In the glass, it shows a bright straw-yellow color enhanced by elegant golden and greenish glints. The nose reveals a deep, sophisticated bouquet where vine peach and apricot scents blend with pink grapefruit zest, elderflower, and a flinty herbal background of fennel and thyme. On the palate, it enters with broad, supple richness; fine lees contact confers a silky, creamy texture perfectly balanced by crisp acidity that leads into a long, persistent finish featuring Verdejo's noble, iconic bitter touch.
