The organic white wine Maricel by historic winery Torre de Veguer is a true homage to the sea and the winemaking heritage of Sitges in DO Penedès. Crafted exclusively as a single-varietal Malvasia de Sitges, this rare coastal white is grown in vineyards overlooking the Mediterranean. A limited-production gem celebrated for its intense floral bouquet, electric acidity, and distinct saline footprint.
Tasting Note
In the glass, it shines with a bright pale straw yellow color embellished with golden and greenish highlights. The nose reveals an aromatic explosion of orange blossom, carob tree, basil, and grapefruit zest, interwoven with passion fruit, fresh apricot, and distinct briny iodine undertones. On the palate, it delivers vibrant energy and expressive depth; an agile yet textured entry guided by crisp citrus acidity provides instant freshness.
