The red wine Ramón Bilbao Edición Limitada Garnacha is a vibrant, deeply Mediterranean expression within the DOCa Rioja. Crafted exclusively from 100% Garnacha sourced from old vineyards in the highest elevation zones of Rioja Oriental, this wine highlights the fresh, expressive nature of a historical grape variety. Fermented in wooden oak vats and aged for 10 months in French oak barrels before resting in large wooden vats, the result is a numbered edition of immense aromatic purity, showcasing crisp red fruit and high-altitude minerality with refined elegance.
Tasting Note
In the glass, it exhibits a bright, clear ruby-red color with a medium robe and glowing pinkish rim highlights that speak of its youthful vitality. On the nose, it opens as a true burst of wild spring perfumes: an energetic red fruit character immediately takes center stage, overflowing with wild strawberries, raspberries, and red cherries, backed by floral hints of violets and a balsamic backdrop of damp thyme and rosemary.
