Altos de Torona Albariño White Wine is a benchmark of Atlantic terroir within DO Rías Baixas, originating from the famed O Rosal subzone where vineyards overlook the Miño River and Atlantic Ocean. Crafted 100% from Albariño grapes grown on a single hillside estate of nearly 100 hectares, this wine benefits from aging on fine lees, giving it remarkable body and complexity alongside bright, saline acidity.
Tasting Note
In the glass, it shines with a clean straw-yellow color framed by brilliant greenish highlights. The nose opens with vibrant intensity, blending stone fruits such as peach and apricot with crisp green apple, citrus lime zest, white blossoms, and mountain herbs, backed by a distinctly saline ocean breeze. On the palate, it enters with smooth richness and agile energy; the mid-palate is fleshy and aromatic, supported by vibrant acidity that carries through to a long, mineral-driven, and highly gastronomic finish.
