Pètals de Garnatxa is a unique enological gem born in the heart of DOQ Priorat by family winery Celler Sabaté. Crafted entirely from Grenache grapes grown at the foot of the Montsant mountains in La Vilella Baixa, this rosé defies classic Priorat expectations by revealing incredible delicacy and charm. Iconic licorella (slate) soils meet careful winemaking to achieve maximum freshness, floral intensity, and mineral length.
Narrative Tasting Note
In the glass, Pètals de Garnatxa shines with a delicate raspberry-pink color featuring wild strawberry glints and coral undertones, impeccably clear and glowing. On the nose, it delivers stunning aromatic purity, unfolding rose petal, elderflower, and white blossom notes intertwined with a burst of crisp red fruit: wild strawberries, redcurrants, and cherries, framed by graphite and slate mineral nuances. The palate is fresh, lively, and surprisingly broad; Grenache brings silky fruitiness balanced by bright, integrated acidity. It finishes long, floral, and subtly saline, leaving an indelible mark of Priorat terroir.
