Señorío de Rubiós Godello White Wine is a true winemaking gem demonstrating the versatility and grandeur of the Godello grape cultivated under the Atlantic microclimate of DO Rías Baixas, specifically in the subzone of Condado do Tea. Crafted by Coto Redondo winery from steep hillside granitic vineyards, this white wine combines the natural creaminess and structure of the variety with signature Galician freshness and minerality.
Tasting Note
Poured into the glass, it presents an elegant straw-yellow color with golden and greenish reflections, clear, bright, and with attractive leggy tears. The nose reveals a deep and enchanting aromatic complexity where stone fruits like yellow peach and juicy apricot blend seamlessly with baked apple notes, wild Galician herbs (gorse, fennel), and a strong mineral-saline edge. On the palate, it enters broad, silky, and surprisingly voluminous; the mid-palate is fleshy and well-structured, supported at every turn by vibrant citrus acidity that brings supreme elegance and a long, memorable, mineral-driven finish.
