The legendary Cava Majestuoso is one of the most exquisite masterpieces from Conde de Valicourt, a boutique historic winery keeping the true spirit of traditional Cava alive in the heart of Sant Sadurní d'Anoia. This Gran Reserva is born from a meticulous selection of classic Penedès varieties, undergoing an extensively long aging process in underground cellars. Entirely handcrafted, unhurried, and respecting methods passed down through generations, this cult sparkling wine stands out for its seamlessly integrated bubbles, stately elegance, and a complexity only found in top-tier aged wines.
Tasting Note
In the glass, it commands an undeniable presence, showing a clean, brilliant golden color with beautiful hints of old gold, accompanied by a continuous stream of extremely fine bubbles that slowly rise to form a delicate and persistent crown. The nose offers a recital of noble aging where ripe white fruit and dried apricots blend gorgeously with complex autolytic notes; aromas of freshly baked brioche, toasted butter, wild hazelnuts, tobacco leaf, and a subtle background of honey and fine pastry. On the palate, it is pure volume, creaminess, and distinction. The entry is broad, with an effervescence that caresses the mouth in an almost velvety way thanks to its years of cellaring. The mid-palate is rich and deep, supported by a mature, well-sustained acidity that brings a stately freshness. The finish is remarkably long, elegant, and clean, leaving a persistent aftertaste of bread crust and toasted hints that invite quiet contemplation.

An incredible contemporary contrast. The smooth texture of the beef and truffle butter is lifted by the sparkling wine’s velvety mouthfeel, while the coarse mustard awakens hidden spicy nuances inside the Cava's venerable age.
