Fuego Fatuo Barrica

The folks at Bodegas Tamaral bring us a young wine, made 100% with Ull de Llebre grapes (the classic one!), that's taken a mini-nap in French oak barrels. So, no worries, the fruit and freshness of the grapes are the stars here, with a touch of wood that adds a stylish little something.

In the glass, you'll see it's cherry red, with a shine that says, 'Hey, I'm fresh!'. And if you look closely, it's got some purplish hints that remind you it's young and full of energy.

When you smell it, you get a nice aroma of red and black fruit (little cherries, blackberries, redcurrants...), like you're strolling through the countryside. And the barrel? Well, it leaves a soft memory of spices (vanilla, black pepper) and a very subtle toastiness, which doesn't scare off the fruit at all, quite the opposite!

When you taste it, it goes down smooth, no complications. It's fresh, with a fruity flavor and a liveliness that makes you want another sip. The acidity gives it life, and in the end, it leaves a nice taste of red fruit.

This wine is like a friend who always fits in: some tapas, a good slice of ham, a mild cheese, grilled white meat, or a rice dish. It won't let you down!
